Seeking You

Do you ever have a song that just goes through your head over and over? You even wake up with it on your mind or it plays in your dreams?

Lately, for me, it's been this song...

The words, "the more I seek you, the more I find you" - those are so true for me. I've been seeking God more in the past two years than ever before. And you know what? I am finding more of Him. He is all over IT!! What is it? He's got me, He's got David, He's got Ellie! He knows my health issues. He knows our broken hearts. He gets it.

I do want to sit at His feet. I do want to lay back against Him. His love is the only love that will truly fulfill. It's not an earthly relationship that bring any of us what we are looking for. His love is indescribable. It is a love full of peace, there is nothing self-centered about His love. He doesn't want anything in return except for us to love Him.

His love brought me to this place. Yes I mean here to blogland. You have showered my family with your love and your prayers. We would not be where we are today without you and I thank you. His love is going to see each of us through whatever comes our way.

Want to share in some of the fun things going on. I was able to take the kids shopping!! I went to David's soccer invitational yesterday!! Ellie is slowing gaining back some strength. David smiles. Counseling continues. I put my feet in the sand again at the beach. Little things - but I am praising God.

Thank you, Lord, for loving me. Thank you that you are always right here. Your eyes are always upon us. Continue to draw us closer to you. Remind us that you are the ONLY answer. Thank you for these friends that I may never meet this side of heaven.

Seeking Him...

Hi Sheryl, I also love the song "The More I Seek You". I never get tired of it, and have it loading as the background music on my blog. I can listen to it over and over, and it blesses me each time. Thanks for your awesome post today, reminding us to keep on seeking Him.

So happy that some "normal" things are coming back into your lives.
God has used you in a powerful way "online". Thankful for your faithfulness and obedience. Continuing to lift your family up in prayer as I know you do mine.
Love, Linda

I'm gld you found it too, and I pray God continues to use it to encourage your heart - these words of truth. I also hope you know your blog ministers to people the way this song has ministered to you. XO

Generally, I listen to southern gospel, and I just found this song the other day, and I LOVE IT!!! I think it's so (not really) strange that it's been on several hearts lately. I'm so thankful I know what it's like to melt in His peace.

Sheryl, I have been a lurker for some time now. I found you while googling "Crazy Love". When I saw your post, I knew God was deliberate in sending me here, as I spent most of yesterday on youtube listening to Kari Jobe. I especially like "Revelation song". I pray for you and your family even tho we are strangers, but not in Him.

Hi Sheryl,
What an awesome post, and what an awesome video, the presence of the Lord was certainly evident.
It is so wonderful to read of how far God has brought you,David and Ellie. In reading your posts over this past year, He has been so gracious. I have seen your faithfulness to what He has called you to do even when I knew your heart was breaking and the easiest thing would have been to put the covers over your head and go to bed!! God is honoring your faithfulness and He will continue to bless you.
Just as Mary did you have chosen to sit at His feet, and love him and let Him love you. Oh!! how we all need to do this more and more!! Thank you for being that example to all of us here in blogland, I am like you so thankful that God has allowed our paths to cross, if we don't meet here I know we will be seeing each other in heaven as we stand around God's throne in heaven!
Blessings to you my dear sweet friend,
Sue

Oh, I'm so glad you are able to do the little things more lately, it brings a smile to my face because 'I know'
I'm glad you are resting in Him and so very thrilled you found your way to blog land because I 'met' you before I became sick and had no idea but God did and HE knew I would need your strength and friendship to make it through.

Thank you for sharing your life and for being a wonderful friend.

Beautiful, meaningful song, and beautiful and meaningful words from you, my friend in this post. We are all family, we hurt when you hurt, and we rejoice when you rejoice. Blogland has truly been a blessing to me too.

Thanks again for sharing what is on your heart today. I will not stop praying.

Girl, LOVED this! Speaking to me right now and seeking Him with all my heart. Thank you for your sweet words about my dear friend Tammy. She's lived out her faith boldly for the world to see, yet eloquently enough to not intimidate a soul.
