Prayers and a Question

I want you to know that I have been praying through your comments on my last post. Daily. If there is some way that I can be praying for you, please go there and leave me a note. It really is a privilege!

There was an anonymous comment left there. I am not sure that I understand it. If you are the one who wrote it or if you think you have some insight...would you please leave me some feedback. Sometimes we leave our own words, sometimes they really are from the Lord. I'm just curious about this one.

Here is how the comment read:

About a few years ago, God began teaching me the importance of looking at my life in terms of seasons. The life we live here on earth is not a series of random events or disjointed circumstances. Indeed, there is a divine connection to our years - from the moment we were conceived, to our dying breath, there is a purpose.

As a mom-your purpose would most likely be to your children-best not to bring someone else into your lives because its just not the season-that would stop their pain and bring glory to God.To everything there is a season,A time for every purpose under heaven.~ Ecclesiastes 3:1

I am in a new season. I do believe that our seasons are connected. Praying that this season is one of hope, joy and peace for each one of you.

You are loved deeply by me! You are loved completely by the Lord.

You already know this season that i am in.. Oh its different and full of some challenges but I see GOD's hand in it. I am excited of what GOD has in store for us all.

My prayer would be that I would see GOD more this year than before. Not focusing on the situation really but learning to really focus of how big GOD really is.

I have the distinct impression that your season of healing has been given a boost; and that boost by your own hands as you reach to boost others.

You've been on my mind these days, knowing how challenging the holidays must be.

Much peace today, and always.

Whatever the season, whatever the circumstances, I want to remind you that despite how it all may appear God's love for you and your family far surpases anything you could ever imagine, and nothing can ever separate us from that love. The tone of your posts is changing and for that I am thanking God. I feel like God is giving you some much needed answers to some of the"whys" that you have been facing. I just want you to know, I am committed to praying for you, your son and your daughter this Christmas season. And, I am truly excited for the answers that I know He has promised to give.

Now you've got me curious about the meaning of that comment :o) In my recent seasons it has been proven over and over that God's ways are not my ways, His ways are higher. He works in ways I don't expect to work! So it's always best to seek to be in His will than to do what seems best. God is good no matter our circumstances and I'm praising Him for the gifts He is blessing you with!

Oh, and thank you for your prayers...I had asked for prayer for my husband and I as we raise our children and last week God moved in amazing ways!!! A friend from church gave us a book called 1-2-3 Magic for Christian Parents, we're almost through the book and anxious to start using the program...it's been so insightful I would recommend it to anyone who takes care of children...anyway, then on Wed. night I was tempted to skip our last financial peace class at church to be home as a family and deal with some issues but we went instead and struck up a conversation after class with a gentleman who has been in our group and the conversation turned to children and it turns out that he's a family therapist! We stayed a bit late that night...he had a lot of helpful insights.

Okay, that was quite a ramble but I'm so blessed by your prayers that I wanted to share with you how God is working!

I wholeheartedly agree with Robin... God's ways are not our own, and because of that, following His will wholeheartedly will unlock the unexpected and creative blessings that He wants for us.

I think that the writer of that comment may be missing the fact that in YOU being given God's blessings of healing and joy, your children will be blessed through osmosis :)

Follow God -- and only God, he wants joy for you in EVERY area of your life.

You are loved -- beyond measure!

Im catching up on my favorite blogs after being preoccupied thru the holidays......My prayer is for direction in decisions that must be made as retirement approaches and for a closer walk with God than ever before. For greater faith, like Andrew's mom has....and for a perfect peace to follow that family this coming year without him. I also pray that your new year....be NEW and FRESH and wonderful....

Sheryl, somehow I missed you posted a comment on my blog quite some time ago. Just went back to read a post and saw you had commented. I have to apologize for not seeing it and thanking you. So sorry, it was not intentional.
I read back some and am so sorry to see the young man lost his battle, but such a blessing to have him in the arms of the greatest Healer!! My thoughts and prayers do go to the family.
I love your blog, and promise to come back soon. Right now I have to dress and go help with my mothers care. See more of you soon!
