Have We Reached the Bottom Yet

UPDATE: I am adding this because my sweet friend Beverly asked about Ellie. She is progressing fine and as far as we know she is on a slow road to recovery. We are very grateful!!

I just read over my past several posts. Comical! In a few of them I talk about how I didn't think things could get any worse and then...wham! I am going to stop writing those posts because we just keep getting hit.

Since I do not have as much freedom in my writing as I used to (as there is someone trying to use my words against me) I am not able to tell you details of what is going on around here. But please know that we need your prayers like never before. Isn't that hard to believe? It's been two years that we've been walking this path and it is worse now than ever.

That's gotta be good!!

God is up to something big and I am going to rejoice in God my Savior (my verses from Habakkuk). He is doing things I never thought possible. He is the provider of all good things. He is watching over David. He is healing Ellie's body. He is giving me some really great days physically. He is providing a godly counselor for our family. He loves us.

HE LOVES US!!

Even as it feels like we are falling further and further into chaos...somehow God is making all things new. That's it! In order for each one of us to be who God has called us to be-He has to make us new. Being made into entirely new people is painful. But, oh, is it gonna be worth it!!

Have we reached the bottom yet? Cuz I cannot wait to see the beauty.

Sheryl.. God knows the specifics and I am praying for you. That is not just a word I say but I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
Lifting you up before the Father right now.
Love you my friend

Sheryl, my heart aches for you sweet friend. I am praying for you. God knows what you need. I am so sorry you have to go through this.
God is and WILL bring something good out of this. He doesn't put us through suffering without a reason. Although it sucks big time.

Beth Moore said in a LPL event once that when God is asking you to do something hard, He's preparing you for something huge.

Now, there are times in my life when I feel like I'd rather trade the huge result for something a little less hard, but eventually I come around and see the blessing in the thorns.

I'm praying for you.

Tie a knot and hang on for dear life... I have had to give that advice to bloggy-buddies a whole lot lately.

I will remember you in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh dear sister... I hesitate to say this because compared to what your troubles are, my burdens are light, but it doesn't minimize what I want to share.
The other morning I was pretty overwhelmed with my stresses and a lot of anxiety, so I just started speaking out scripture, more in desperation than authority, but Jeremiah came to me... where the Lord says, "my plan is to prosper you and not to harm you... to give you a future and a hope." It is our TRUTH!
Whatever our feelings are, others may try to use them against us, but be not discouraged, the Lord looks upon your heart and your faith blesses Him.
He spoke to my heart recently, that sometimes the blessing is not in our sudden deliverance, but in the steady journey out of our desert, we will look back and remember where we have traveled, with the Lord always by our side. Look ahead as the hope of the future slowly becomes clearer, the oasis you struggle to see is a place the Lord has made for you to find rest in Him. It is not a mirage, keep moving forward, for He not only waits there for you, but walks alongside to lead you there in the first place. He is Lord of the Oasis, and He is Lord in the desert too.
I pray blessings upon you as you continue on in your incredible faith. XOXOX

Oh dear. I'm so sorry. I realize the need to privacy, but if you could, please let us know that it's not Ellie's health. And I'll be in prayer for your family...

Beautiful attitude, Sheryl.

So sorry you are enduring this.
Also so sorry you can't share as your heart desires because another wants to use your words/heart against you. Just awful.
