HE is Moving

Hey everyone!! Yes, we are alive and we are WELL!

When I wrote my last post and pushed publish I debated for a bit about whether to leave it. It was raw and written very quickly. When I went back to decide if I was going to take it off, there was already a comment. Then I knew I needed to leave it.

Later that same day (the same day I wrote that post) things were going so great I felt silly for having all of you reading it. I thought to myself "well, that passed and it's not even where we are any more". God got my attention. He ever so politely told me that it was because I had written it and because YOU HAD PRAYED that things were better. Ya see, I am a bit slow - duh God - THANK YOU!

As our little of family of three, there are many days that we are simply unable to pray for ourselves. It is then that I know you are stepping in and standing in the gap praying. There aren't words to express what that means to us & for us.

God asked me the other day what it is that I really want. If I were to pray for the real desire of my heart, what would it be. The answer popped into my head immediately. I want healing for my family so desperately that it takes my breath away. When there are so many days like I wrote about it in my last post it is easy to take my eyes off of Jesus and focus on what I see. What I see seems like an impossible situation.

Just the kind of situation that Jesus loves. Because when the miracle happens, it will be obvious who gets all the glory!!

Thank you for your friendship and your prayers. Thank you for your part in the miracle that we are believing for. Through the power of your prayers, God is moving.

Sheryl,

There are so many times I come up against a situation that I don't know what to do about, and then I think, "Duh, I can pray about it!" It's so easy for us to be consumed by our problems and to forget about God. Thankfully, we have our prayer warriors and intercessors!

Prayers and Blessings, Leslie

Some may say that prayer is all that one can do but I beg to differ... Prayer is when we beseech our great GOD for someone else. Oh yes he hears our prayers. He's awesome like that!

Love you,
Laura

So glad that He is always there and always moving on our behalf...even when we don't think to consult Him first. I am so good at trying to figure things out and then thinking...I should really turn it over to God. That is all He wants me to do...Surrender my will.

I'm so glad to hear things went better after you published your last post!!

I'm standing with you for the miracle you are praying and believing for; but I'd also like to say I think you are a "miracle" everyday! The way you persevere daily and allow your trials to build character is very "miraculous". Many people give up or become bitter, but not you! Instead you allow it to be used by God to change you! You are amazing!

God is amazing isn't He! I am so glad you published that last post. It was open, honest and really gave us a glimpse of your pain.

Just as I prayed for you when you needed it, your post today was just what I needed. That's one of the things I love most about the God we serve... the way everything is connected so beautifully, so intricately, for His glory. Everything has purpose, and hardly just "one single purpose" either... it reaches beyond what our wildest imagination could ever fathom.

Keep on sharing, keep on healing, keep on praying, keep on believing.

Love you!

You are so right! Your realness, your openness, your heartfelt words, help us to be more specific in our prayers for you and your family. What you must realize is that we are all learning so much from you and your postings. Many in blogland are going through deep waters and we can gain a fresh perspective, through your realness and through your relationship to your Heavenly Father. We are all family and we all care. So, in light of that, share openly and honestly like you have been, and know that you are loved and prayed for often. Through it all, you can share.

God is MOST certainly moving. Despite what's going on in our lives, despite how lonely and broken and alone we feel. I know this because of you Sheryl, and the huge influence you have been in my life. I love you!

How can it be that such a thing as blogging can bring such truly faithful friends, people that really care and pray? It's beautiful and awe inspiring and good.

I love it that you sensed that, and knew your friends truly care. It's largely because you put yourself out there in such an honest and thought-provoking way...we GET you and care and want to pray. It's humbling isn't it? And humility brings on these good things.

Much love to you, lady.
