YOU

Okay this post is completely self-serving. I have noticed that there are many of you who visit me (and I appreciate that). But I do not know who you are. I realize that there are lots of people who don't feel comfortable leaving comments, but the thing is I like to know who my friends are. Would you mind doing me a favor? Don't navigate away from this page without leaving a comment. PLEASE???!!! Would you please just say hi and tell me your name and where you're from. Of course, if you want to tell me how wonderful I am or anything of that nature that is perfectly acceptable as well! Oh, one more thing...if you happen to have a life verse or a favorite verse I would love to hear that too. I promise I will get back to my regular posting soon and let you know how things are going. (some of you are relieved for the break from my saga)

Okay, start commenting..........thanks!

Hey Homey,

It's me, Hulie. I check on you all the time and love reading what you have to say. Thanks for all you do. Not sure if it's a life verse or not, but Psalm 13:5-6 has been speaking to me lately. "But I trust in Your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me."

You are wonderful...if for nothing else for having such a beautiful name...and spelled so nicely.

Stop by my blog and click on the FOLLOW ME button. It looks so sad to see a big fat zero.

Hi from Texas. I faithfully read your blog but don't usually post a response since many times I'm convicted myself and speechless.

Please don't limit me to one verse!

"YET I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior." Habakkuk 3:18

And Ps 63:1, Isa 46:9-10, Ps 45:11

Thanks, Sheryl, for being willing and faithful to let God use you through writing.

Hi Sheryl,

We've met before - on line of course. LOL I think I came across your blog from Nate's CF blog.

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and have two precious children (a 9 year old girl and a 6 year old boy). I am also blessed with a wonderful husband.

My favorite life-verse is not from the bible, but I try to follow it: Live Laugh Love

Hey there ~ It's Michelle from the same state as you!

Jeremiah 29:11 has been really important for me to remember as we've been going through so much junk these last few months.

Have a wonderful day!

I was just reading over some of your comments. I LIKE the one that said, "Biker babe from Georgia!" I wish I could say the same - HEHEHE... It's just me, Tonya, from Mississippi! =-)

I'm glad you got your book, and am sorry that it took SO LONG to get it to you. I'm THE WORLD'S WORST at mailing things out! I apologize and HOPE you enjoy it. (Even if it's not what you need right now, maybe it'll help in the future)

Now, one of my favorite verses is from Job. (Kinda scary right? If anyone told me they had "a word" for me from Job I think I'd RUN in the other direction) It's a GREAT verse, I promise!

Job 42:5

5"I have (B)heard of You by the hearing of the ear;
But now my (C)eye sees You;

See, many times we learn more about our LORD while we're "in the fire" than we ever would have without.

What an AWESOME thing to SEE the LORD!!

Hi Sheryl-

It's Myriam checking in. You are my faithful reader. My all time favorite verse is: Gal 5:1

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Love you dearly

Hello and may GOD always bless you!! I surf the blog sites for Christians once a week and hardly ever see comments posted. I like you know that God has sent others to view your blog and I too seldomnly leave messages. I usually hang out at http://newcreationsumc.blogspot.com when I'm blogging. I hope you too can stop by for a visit, and I will keep your blog on my favorites. God bless you Sher.

This is my first visit to your blog - I wandered here following various links.

I must say, when you asked for a Bible verse only one (well really two)came to mind:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall guide your path." - Proverbs 3:5-6

Here's is one of my many "life verses"...

"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." 2 Corinthians 4:17

Can you imagine all God is doing through our trials?

Praying for you!!

Hi Sheryl,

I'm a secret stalker of your blog. Although I have not been through what you've been through, I can identify with your posts where you talk about how difficult it is to trust God even when it feels like your world is falling apart.

I pray that God will continue to give you the strength to lean on Him, especially when your strength seems to have failed.

Blessings,

Kim

well...I finally joined the blog world so I could post to your messages.....
Sheryl - You have more friends and are loved by more people than you could possibly realize. Jesus Christ first and foremost loves you more than any of us put together. He is using you as His messanger through your blog to show us His unconditional love, forgiveness, strength and protection. As far as my fav verses: "I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me" and "I will never leave you or forsake you". I thank and praise God for you and your friendship, your family, and all that you bring to us daily. I pray for your healing, and for God's loving arms to wrap around you and your kids and hold you close as to not feel any pain of your current circumstances. I pray for Don that his heart may open to all that God is trying to show him, and that he will come to accept his faith for what it really should be, not for what he thinks it means. Above all else, I thank God that He sent His amazing son to die so that we may live in His glory. Keep listening to God's voice. He has alot to say to you, through you,and to us all.
Blessings to you always! :-)
